Jeremy Swayman had to make 39 saves. The UMaine power play went 0-for-5. The Bears gave Merrimack 10 power play chances. Still, Maine beat the Warriors 4-2 Saturday night and take three out of a possible four points in the Hockey East standings.

With the game tied 2-2 in the second period, UMaine's Brandan Robbins scored the game winning goal. Mitch Fossier added an empty netter at the end and the Black got two big points in the standings.
