Bergeron, Backes Out For Season Opener

Bad news for the Boston Bruins as they open up the 2017-18 season with the Nashville Predators on Thursday night.

According to Joe Haggerty of NBC Sports Boston, Torey Krug may be able to rejoin the Bs in the near future.  The report said that Krug will have a meeting with doctors on Friday and has not been ruled out of the contest on Monday versus the Colorado Avalanche.

The Bs will host the Western Conference champion Predators tonight from the TD Garden with the puck drop coming at 7 p.m. this evening.
