Bess, Stonehill Lose 75-74 In Elite 8 [VIDEO]
Isaiah Bess and the Stonehill Skyhawks put on a great comeback bid but came up one point short in the NCAA Divisiion II Elite Eight game. Stonehill lost 75-74 and the season ends in the national quarterfinal.
Bess, the former Penquis Valley HS and Hampden Academy standout, scored just three points in 20 minutes of action.
West Liberty University(West Virginia) put together a 15-2 run midway through the second half and the Skyhawks could never recover.
Stonehill finishes the year at 24-9. West University moves into the semi-final round with a 31-3 record.
