With no Kyrie Irving for a second straight game, the Boston Celtics got contributions from a lot of players and beat the Dallas Mavs 114-93 Friday night.

Irving is out with that eye injury. Marcus Morris didn't play either because of a neck injury.

But the C's got 21 points from Jaylen Brown, 18 for Jayson Tatum. Al Horford and Gordon Hayward nearly had triple doubles. Horford had 10 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Hayward had 16, 11 and 8.

The Celts had 35 assists, sharing the ball as well as they have all year.

Rookie Luca Doncic led the Mavs with 19 points and 9 rebounds.

Boston is now 23-15 and play Brooklyn next on Monday night.
