Mookie Betts is the back-to-back Gold Glove Award winner for best rightfielder in the American League. Dwight Evens is the only other Boston Red Sox rightfielder to win multiple Gold Gloves as a rightfielder.

He led all outfielders in the stat 'defensive runs saved' with 31.

Betts was one of four Sox players who were finalists for their position - Chris Sale, Mitch Moreland and Dustin Pedroia were the others. None won the award.
