The Marquette Golden Eagles scored the first 22 points of the game and never looked back in pounding the UMaine Black Bears 104-67.

One of the top freshman in the country, 6-foot-11 forward Henry Ellenson scored 9 of those 22 points. He finished with a season high 23.

Marquette's center, 6-foot-11 Luke Fischer had a season high 21.

Maine struggled all day to match up with the Golden Eagles size and simply could not. The Black Bears shot just 27% in the first half (11-for-40) and got out scored 61-29.

Marquette dominated the paint, scoring  62 points while Maine scored just 28.

Kevin Little and Devine Eke led the Bears in scoring with 15 each.

Maine falls to 2-5. Marquette is 6-2. Attendance at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee was 12,304.
