Two well deserving candidates are on the ballot for the Tool of the Week and include Jonathan Paplebon of the Phillies and Desmond Jackson for the Texas Longhorns.Paplebon is on the ballot after his lewd gesture at Phillies fans after he blew a save in the 9th inning on Sunday.

University of Texas football player Desmond Jackson is also up for this week's award. After losing the coin toss against UCLA, the Bruins elected to defer to the second half. When Jackson was asked what they wanted, he chose to kickoff. The surprised referee asked again to be sure what Jackson said. Jackson repeated his request and the Longhorns kicked off to start both the first and second half, much to the dismay of his head coach.
