The Binghamton Bearcats are heading the NCAA Regionals in baseball after they beat the Stony Brook Seawolves  6-3 in the America East championship.

The Bearcats ran the table in the competition and did not suffer a loss over the past week of games.  Binghamton hit a walk off home run in the semi-final to reach the title game and took care of business versus Stony Brook.  The Bearcats jumped out to an early lead against Stony Brook and held on to the win on Saturday afternoon.

The championship is the third all-time for the program and the third also in the team’s last four seasons.  They will now head to the NCAA tournament next weekend and will find out who they play during the selection show tomorrow.  The last loss suffered by the Bearcats came by the way of UMaine in the regular season finale.
