As the UMaine women's basketball prepares for ACC Clemson at the Cross Center in Bangor Friday night, the Black Bears have climbed to #21 in the Mid-Major College Poll.

Maine is 8-4 and moves up from the #24 spot. Fellow America East Conference team Albany at 7-2 is ranked #16 in the new poll.

The Black Bears begin a stretch of games against (ACC) Clemson, (BIG 10) Purdue and (ACC) North Carolina before heading into AE conference play.
