The UMaine Black Bears built up a 27-0 lead on Stony Brook only to see the Seawolves come back and make it close.But, the Bears hang on for the 27-21 win keep playoff hopes alive.

The Black Bears three touchdowns in the first half on a Josh Mack run, a fumble recovery for a score and a Dan Collins to Jared Osumah pass play.

After tacking on another TD by Mack to make it 27-0, the Seawolves got their act together scoring three times to make it close.

Mack rushed 39 times for 147 yards to lead the UMaine attack. QB Dan Collins was 16-for-26, 156 yards, 2 TDs and an interceptions.

The win puts the UMaine CAA record at 5-2 (6-4 overall). With New Hampshire losing its CAA game today, next week's Maine vs UNH game could be for a final NCAA playoff spot out of the CAA.
