The UMaine women's basketball get some consolation after the heartbreaking loss in the America East Conference championship game. The Women's NIT awards automatic bids to the highest finishing team in each conference that is not picked for the NCAA tournament.

The Black Bears are not expected to get a NCAA at-large bid.

So now the question is - can Maine host a WNIT game or will they have to travel?
