Black Bears Hockey Team Releases 2018-19 Schedule

The University of Maine men's hockey team on Friday released its schedule for the 2018-19 season.

Maine will open the season with a pair of games against St. Lawrence University on Oct. 12-13 at Alfond Arena.

The Black Bears will then head to Minnesota Duluth for a pair of games, Oct. 19-20, against the defending national champion Bulldogs.

Maine opens up conference play on the road Oct. 26-27 against UConn. They will play their first two Hockey East home games on Nov. 2-3 against UMass Lowell.

The team will wrap up non-conference play against three ECAC teams, Princeton (Dec. 28-29), Colorado College (Jan. 2) and Yale (Jan. 7). The game against the Bulldogs will be played at Cross Insurance Arena in Portland.

The Black Bears will play their first game against rival UNH at home on Jan. 21. The two teams are schedule to play a pair of games in Durham, NH on Feb. 1-2.

Maine will play its final regular season game at home against Boston University on March 9.
