Black Bears Host UMBC
The UMaine women's basketball is looking for a conference win when they host UMBC at the Cross Center in Bangor tonight. And, the Black Bears try to snap a three game losing streak at the same time.
Maine is 6-8 overall (0-1 America East) and coming off a buzzer beater loss to Yale on Sunday.
UMaryland Baltimore County is struggling with a 2-11 record but coming off a win against Binghamton.
Maine senior Asheigh Roberts is leading the team in scoring at 13 PPG. She is just 12 points away from 1,000 in her Maine career.
As you can see from the league standings, America East teams are struggling in general outside of the conference. Only two teams have winning records.
