UMaine football offensive coordinator Liam Coen is leaving the Black Bear program to become offensive coordinator at Holy Cross.

Coen came to Maine when Joe Harasymiak was named head coach two years ago. He had been quarterbacks coach at UMass. Coen played quarterback for the Minutemen.

The Black Bears had the third best total offense in the CAA this past fall, including the nation's leading rusher, Josh Mack.

At Holy Cross, Coen will join the staff of head coach Bob Chesney who was hired as new Crusaders coach earlier in the month.

Holy Cross is a member of the Patriot League.
