It's Maine Open Lighthouse Day today! Plus, at the end of the show, we'll check in with the stars of the Animal Planet show North Woods Law.

Part 1: The Owl's Head Lighthouse (above) is one of 21 lighthouses open today until 3 p.m. as part of Maine Open Lighthouse Day. Steve Lyons of the Maine Office of Tourism explains the mystique.

Part 2: The American Lighthouse Foundation has been around for 20 years saving and maintaining historic lighthouses in the Northeast. Learn more about the nonprofit, which has invested more than $3.25 million in the last 12 years.
