The Husson men's basketball team had a two point lead at hafltime in Lewiston last night but the Bates Bobcats came out and dropped 56 second half points and sent the Eagles to their first loss of the season, 88-74.

The Bobcats were 8-of-15 shooting three-pointers. Max Hummel led Bates with 22 points. Former Hampden Academy standout Nick Gilpin had 13 and eight assists for the Bobcats.

Husson was led by Raheem Anderson with 19 and Justin Martin with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Both teams are now 4-1.
