Bobcats Coach Steve Clifford Sidelined

Charlotte Bobcats coach Steve Clifford had a procedure to insert two stents in his heart after suffering chest pains Thursday night

Patrick Ewing ran the Bobcats team last night in their loss to the NY Knicks. No word yet on when Clifford might return to coaching.

Clifford is 52. The team issued a statement saying he was resting comfortably and said there is no timetable for a return. The Bobcats are now 3-3.
