Quinnipiac is ranked #10 in the national polls and the Bobcats came into Alfond Arena Friday night and pounded the UMaine Black Bears 7-2.

Sophomore Tufto Odeen scored the Bobcats first goal just 30 seconds into the game. He finished with a hat trick and a five point night.

Trailing 3-0, the Black Bears finally got on the board at the 13 minute mark of the second period on a Chase Pearson goal.

But Odeen and company scored the next three goals.

Jeremy Swayman played the entire game for Maine, stopping 22 shots.

Quinnipiac goalie Andrew Shortridge made 33.

The Black Bears fall to 4-6-1 and will host the Bobcats again tonight at Alfond.

Quinnipiac is now 10-2.
