It was the biggest fight of his UFC career for Maine's Tim Boetsch, unfortunately it lasted only 28 seconds before he was knocked out by Dan Henderson.Henderson one of the icons of the sports was able to land a vicious right hand to the jaw of Boetsch in the opening seconds of the first round which nearly dropped him. It was enough to stun him and allow Henderson to deliver a knee to the head and an upper cut that finished Boetsch off.

Boetsch is from Lincolnville and trains in Brewer with Marcus Davis. This was their third fight together after starting their work together prior to the UFC coming to Bangor last summer. Saturday night's main event was the first for Boetsch who falls to 18-9. Henderson improves to 31-13 with the win.
