Maine Wrestling Hall of Famer Tim Boetsch will step into the octagon tonight with his UFC career on the line.

Boetsch is on a three fight losing streak in the UFC after his last victory came in Bangor in August 2014.  The Camden native has been training with fellow native Marcus Davis in preparation for the must win fight.  Boetsch will be facing 12-3 upstart Josh Samman who has been extremely difficult in his recent outings, winning four of his past five bouts.  His fight will be on the main card of the UFC Fight Night card from Sioux Falls tonight on Fox Sports 1

Boetsch said that he understands this will be a very difficult match-up for him in this must win situation.

Samman is not only a fighter, but recently wrote a book called The Housekeeper: Love, Death, and Prizefighting which details his fight with addiction and feeling responsible for the death of his longtime girlfriend.  Samman recently spoke with Bryan Stackpole of the Ticket to talk about the book and his fight with Boetsch.

Also on the main event of the UFC Fight Night Card is Michael McDonald who will be facing John Linekar in a bantamweight battle.  McDonald also spoke with Stackpole to preview the main event of the evening.
