Maine's TIm Boetsch continued his success in the UFC with another knockout victory late on Sunday night at Fight Night 112.

Boetsch scored the victory with a leg kick to the head of Johny Hendricks, 46 seconds in to the second round.  The win was the 21st of the career for Boetsch and also his third victory in the UFC in his past four fights.

The Maine native will also received 20 percent of Hendricks' fight pay after the former UFC champion failed to mark weight on Saturday, missing the Middleweight 185 pound limit by three pounds.  Boetsch is now 21-11 in his MMA career.

Devin Powell of South Berwick lost in the preliminary card of the event to Darrell Horcher at the Oklahoma City based event.  Powell struggled in the first two rounds, but picked up a split decision loss after dominating the third and final round.  He is now 0-2 in his UFC career and 8-3 overall.  He made his UFC debut in 2017 after impressing Dana White in Bangor during the filming of the web series Looking For A Fight last August at a New England Fights event.
