When the hand out the Gold Glove Awards for MLB '15 there will be only one Boston Red Sox player eligible - shortstop Xander Bogaerts.

The young shortstop of the Sox is one of three finalists for the SS Gold Glove. The others are Alcides Escobar (KC) and Didi Gregorius (NYY).

Bogaerts finished second in the AL is batting average at .320, 7HR, 81 RBI. His fielding percentage was .984%. Bogaerts made 11 in 676 chances.

This means Dustin Pedroia is not a finalist for second base best defender. Jose Altuve (Astros), Brian Dozier (Twins) and Ian Kinsler (Tigers).

Some baseball observers thought Mookie Betts might get some consideration for an outfield Gold Glove but he is not a finalist.
