Bogdanovich, Burk Players Of The Week

After sweeping a weekend series against Hartford, two University of Maine softball players received America East honors for the contributions they made.Alexis Bogdanovich was named Pitcher of the Week of the 5th time. The senior got the win in all 3 games and in 11.1 innings allowed just 3 hits while walking 1 and striking out 22.

Burk had a monster weekend at the plate hitting .667 with a homerun, 4 rbi and 4 runs scored to win Player of the Week honors.

The Bears hit the road for the final 5 games beginning with a double header at UMBC on Wednesday followed by a 3 game series at Binghamton over the weekend.
