When it comes to playing the Montreal Candiens the Boston Bruins have not had much success as of late. Tonight they get a chance for their first win of the season series when they meet north of the border.

Montreal has claimed the first two games of the season, winning both games by scores of 4-2. Tonight's game will be the last between the two teams until they meet on New Years day in a game that will be played outdoors in Gillette Stadium.

The Canadiens have dominated the series in recent times with Boston going 1-9-2 in their last 12 meetings.

Boston held an optional practice on Tuesday before departing for Montreal and had to make a roster change as well. The Bruins placed center Joonas Kemppainen on injured reserve with an upper body injury and called up forward Max Talbot from Providence to take his spot on the roster.

You can hear tonight's game live on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket with coverage starting at 7pm.
