Bowdoin In Division-3 NCAA Tonight

While UMaine hockey awaits the weekend playoff series at Providence, the Bowdoin Polar Bears play their first round NCAA Division-3 playoff game tonight – at Oswego State in New York.

Coach Terry Meagher’s Bowdoin team is New England Small College Conference champ with a 17-8-2 record. The Polar Bears have been in the NCAA tournament four out of the last five years.

The Lakers of Oswego State University are 20-6-2.

A win tonight would earn Bowdoin a national quarterfinal game against Babson College on Saturday.

The Division-3 National Championship Tournament ( semi-finals and final ) will be hosted in Lewiston at the Colisee on March 21 and 22.
