Johnny Boychuk will be front and center when the New York Islanders stop on to Boston Garden ice tonight against the Bruins. Just before the start of the season earlier this month the B's traded the defenseman for future draft picks.

The Bruins said they did it for salary cap reasons - Boychuk's salary is over $3-million this year and he is a free agent at the end of the season.

So far in six game for the Isles, Boychuck has 2 goals and 4 assists.

Boychuk spent six seasons in Boston, including the Stanley Cup winning season. He was a leader on the team and a fan favorite.

NOTE:  The Isles come to Boston loaded with former UMaine Black Bears. Head coach Jack Capuano, GM Garth Snow, assistant coaches Bob Corkum, Greg Cronin and Mike Dunham.
