Brady & Amendola Show Progress

Bill Belichick surprised his team on Saturday by having an unannounced scrimmage. This was the first time that Tom Brady and new wide receiver Danny Amendola worked together in a game situation. All reports indicate they did not disappoint. While they only played what amounted to two series, they hooked-up several times and ended each drive with a touchdown pass.

Former Patriots coach Bill Parcells was inducted into the Pro Football Hall-of -Fame Saturday night. Parcells who had a 32-32 record and a Super Bowl appearance with the Pats became the first head coach inducted since John Madden in 2006.

The team will practice in Foxborough on Monday before heading to Philadelphia for the rest of the week. They will have joint practices with the Eagles ending with the first pre-season game with Philly on Friday.
