Tom Brady will not be under center for the New England Patriots for the first four games of the 2016 season after he announced that he will not continue his appeal.

Brady took to his Facebook account to make the announcement and said that he will use the time off to focus on becoming a better player.

Jimmy Garoppolo will now be the likely starter for the first four weeks of the NFL season for the Pats.  New England will face the Cardinals, Dolphins, Texans, and Bills in the first four weeks of the season.

The suspension and appeal between Brady and the NFL had gone on since January 2015.  The QB will be allowed to participate in the pre-season workouts with the club, but will be unable to talk with coaches, players, or train at the team's facilities starting on September 3rd until he suspension finishes up.
