They looked like a team hoping a regular season filled with injuries would come to an end. It did with a 20-10 loss to Miami and failure to clinch the number one seed in the AFC.The Patriots lost the #1 spot when Denver beat San Diego. The Pats will be the number two seed, have a first round bye but have to play the AFC Championship game on the road should they advance.

The offense had Danny Amendola back in the lineup but spent most of the first half running the ball and seemingly trying to not put their pass catchers in a position to get hurt. They finished the game with just 198 total yards of offense compared to the 438 racked up by Miami.

Tom Brady completed 12 of 21 passes for 134 yards and no touchdowns. He was also sacked twice injuring his ankle on the first one. Reports indicate he was walking with a limp to the training room after the game.

After the Patriots tied the game at 10 on a touchdown run by Stephen Jackson, the Dolphins were able to re-take the lead on Ryan Tennehill's 2 yard touchdown pass in the 4th quarter. The y would later tack on a field goal to cap the scoring.
