Tom Brady threw for almost 300 yards, James White scored two touchdowns and the defense held Aaron Rodgers in check as the New England Patriots beat the Green Bay Packers 31-17 Sunday night.

And the Patriots did all of this without both Rob Gronkowski and Sony Michel who were out with injuries.

The victory makes the Pats 7-2 with one more game at Tennessee before getting a bye week.

Brady and company set the tone on the first drive of the night, going no-huddle and scoring a touchdown in less than three minutes.

He finished with 294 yards on 22-for-35 passing and a TD.

White did his thing - running and catching the ball for over 100 yards.

Josh Gordon had five catches for 130 yards and a TD. He caught the big one in the 4th quarter to break a 17-17 tie.

Cordarrelle Patterson carried the ball 11 times for 61 yards and a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Aaron Rodgers threw for 259 yards and a couple of touchdowns but not many big plays.
