So much for that Patriots controlling-their-own-destiny-thing. When Miami picked off a last second Tom Brady pass in the endzone the Dolphins had 24-20 and gave Denver back the number one seed in the AFC with two weeks to play.

Miami QB Ryan Tannehill engineered a lated fourth quarter touchdown drive to give the Fish the lead.

Brady brought the Patriots back down the field and had some chances in the final seconds. But on a fourth and goal play, the last play of the game, Brady was picked off by Dolphins linebacker Michael Thomas.

The Patriots fall to 10-4. The Broncos are 11-3. the Dolphins stay alive for a wildcard spot.

Now the Patriots have to worry about 9-4 Cincinnati taking over the #2 seed. The Bengals own the head-to-head tiebreaker against the Pats.
