Brewer’s Jackson Sets State Record Time
It turns out when Brewer High School senior Teal Jackson ran a blazing time of 57.85 in the 400m event at the PVC/EMITL meet on Saturday that time is an all-time Maine best.
According to milesplit.com, Jackson's time is not only a league record time but best ever in the state for the 400m.
Claire Franco from Brunswick holds the best time in state championship competition. Her time in the 2008 state event was 57.88.
The next PVC/EMITL meet is Saturday morning at the UMaine fieldhouse.
