Brewer’s Wood Wins Athlete Of The Week

Cam Wood of Brewer High School has won the McDonald’s High School Athlete of the Week with 68 percent of the total vote over Katie Butler of Bangor High School and Sophia Holmes of Messalonskee High School.

Wood had a nice week for the Witches as his team picked up valuable heal points in the two victories over Gardiner and Bangor.  In the match-up against Gardiner this past Monday, he scored a game high 22 points for a victory by two, and then chipped in with 11 points versus the Rams this past weekend.  Brewer is now 6-7 and currently in seventh place in the Class A North Standings

He took home the vote with almost 900 total submissions this week.
