In what may have been his last game as a New Jersey Devil, Martin Brodeur needed to make just 16 save to beat the Boston Bruins 3-2.The Bruins lest many of their starters including the top line, defenseman Zdeno Chara and goalie Tuukka Rask at home to rest for the playoffs.

The Devils scored two third period goals to open up a 1-1 game. Brad Marchand closed the gap with 16 seconds left scoring his 25th goal of the season, but could not get the equalizer.

The Bruins will open up the playoffs at home against the Detroit Red Wings who won 3 of the 4 games against Boston this season.
