Bronco-Hermon, Brewer Get Senior League Tourney Wins

The Bronco-Hermon and Brewer Senior League All Stars are a step closer to playing in the upcoming Senior League World Series. Both teams scored opening night District #3 Tournament wins Friday night.

Bronco-Hermon, which is made up of Hampden and Hermon players, defeated Sebasticook Valley 6-3 in eight innings.

Brewer came from four runs down to beat Bangor 9-5.

Old Town and Holbrook teams had first round byes.

The winner of this double elimination District #3 tourney will be the host team for the 2016 SLWS at Mansfield Stadium starting July 31st.

The Senior League division of Little League baseball is made up of players age 14 to 16.
