Bronco LL Beats Waldo In State Tourney
The Bronco Little League All Stars scored a 8-0 win over the Waldo Count All Stars in the first round of the Maine State 11/12 year old Tournament in Biddeford. The Bronco LL team includes players from Hampden, Newburgh and Winterport.
Bronco remains unbeaten in allstar play, going 5-0 in District #3 play and now 1-0 at the state tournament.
Next game game for Bronco LL is Saturday afternoon at 1:30pm vs District #1 champ Coastal (Blue Hill).

Bronco hitters: Sam Economy double, 2 singles: Ethan Quimby home run: Wyatt Harriman home run, single
Waldo hitters: Charlie Spiegel single: Colby Snow single
Bronco scored two runs in the first. Sam Economy lead off with a single, Ethan Quimby then hit a 2 run homer.
Wyatt Harriman hit a solo home run in the top of the second.
Bronco got 3 runs in the third. Mychal Beaulieu singled, Harriman singled, Ryan Sears reached on an error scoring Beaulieu. Sam Economy then singled in Harriamn and Sears.
In the 5 th inning Economy doubled in Kergan Perkins and Wyatt Harriman who both reached base on walks.
Jackson Thayer pitched a complete game, 71 pitch shutout, striking out 7.
