Brosseau Named AE Player Of The Week

For the first time this season, a UMaine Black Bear women's basketball player was named Player of the Week by the America East conference.

Brosseau averaged 18 points in the two games over the weekend against Miami and Kennesaw State and put up a career high 20 points vs the Hurricanes this past Friday.  She also shot 46 percent from the floor and helped the Black Bears to a 1-1 record, pushing Maine to 4-2 overall.  She was also named to the All-Tourney team for her efforts.

The honor was the first Player of the Week honor for Brosseau and the first honor for any women's basketball player this season by the conference.  Maine will have two road contests this week as they face Toledo and Ohio State on Thursday and Sunday respectively before returning to Bangor to face Maine Maritime Academy on December 5th.
