It turns out the Boston Bruins did make a deadline deal, albeit a minor one. The B's have traded for veteran forward Drew Stafford from the Winnipeg Jets.

The Bruins give up a conditional 6th round draft pick to get him.

Stafford is 31-years-old and in his 11th NHL season.

In 40 games with the Jets, Stafford has four goals and nine assists.

He's a big 6-foot-2, 214 pound guy who can add some depth up front for the Bruins.

Stafford was a first round pick of the Buffalo Sabres and played his first nine seasons with the Sabres.

NOTE; The Bruins next play Thursday night vs the NY Rangers. Live coverage on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket.
