Brad Marchand had yet another chance to win an overtime game for the Boston Bruins. This time Winnipeg goalie Connor Hellebuyck got a piece of the puck and stopped the shot. Then the Jets beat the Bruins in a shootout to win the game 5-4.

The Bruins do get a point in the standings and climb within one point of first place Tampa Bay and guess what - the B's and Lighning meet Thursday night at Boston Garden.

For now, the four game roadtrip is over. The Bruins finish it with a 2-0-2 record.

The B's scored three powerplay goals against a very good Winnipeg team (Jets are now 47-19-10).

Boston got goals from Ryan Donato, Danton Heinen, David Pastrnak and Torey Krug.

Brandon Tanev had a hat trick for the Jets.

Both goalies made 28 saves.
