The Boston Bruins are finally getting most of their injured players back in the lineup and what a difference it makes. David Backes scored twice in a 6-1 win over the Arizona Coyotes last night, his first goals since returning from colon surgery.

Backes missed 12 games and is just now getting back into game shape.

Brad Marchand, David Krejci, Danton Heinen and Anders Bjork all scored a goal. All four players have missed time with injuries.

Goalie Tuukka Rask made 20 saves in net.

The B's have won seven of the last nine games to improve their record to 13-9-4. That puts the Bruins back in a tie for third place (a playoff spot) in their division.

Next for the Bruins, a matchup vs the NY Islanders Saturday night. Live coverage on Sports Radion 92.9 The Ticket starts at 6:30pm.
