Patrice Bergeron scored two more goals and the Boston Bruins beat up the Calgary Flames 5-2 last night. The win moves the B's even closer to first place.

The two goals give Bergeron 27 for the season. Riley Nash scored twice and Zdeno Chara had an empty netter at the end.

Tuukka Rask made 27 saves in goal.

The Bruins have now won seven of their last eight games. Their 35-12-8 record, combined with a Tampa Bay loss last night, means the B's are just one point out of first place in the Atlantic Division (78 points) and they have two games in hand over the Lightning.

Next for the Bruins is a long, five game roadtrip that starts in Vancouver Saturday night. They don't play at Boston Garden again until February 27th.
