It took 75 seconds for the Boston Bruins to lose their first post Olympic game, falling to the Buffalo Sabres in overtime 5-4.With only 53 seconds to play in regulation the Sabres scored the game tying goal to force overtime. Riding that momentum Buffalo wasted little time as Matt D'Agostini got behind Zdeno Chara and scored the game winner just 22 seconds into overtime.

Former UMaine Black Bear Brian Flynn helped the Sabres cause with a goal and an assist. The Bruins will try to get back in the win column when they host the Capitals on Saturday.
