Bruins Pound Sabres, Celts Take Down Nets

The Boston Bruins got two goals each from Milan Lucic and Torey Krug in a 5-2 win over Buffalo.David Krejci and Jerome Iginla helped the offense with two assists each. Boston held the Sabres to just 16 shots on goal and Chad Johnson stopped 14 of them in his first start of the season.

The Celtics closed out the preseason with a 101-97 win over the Brooklyn Nets who played without Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett. Brandon Bass and Avery Bradley paced the offense with 16 points each.
