The Bruins best all-around player, Patrice Bergeron, is up for the NHL Selke Award given to the best defensive forward each year. Bergeron won the award last year.

This time around he is up against Pavel Datsyuk(Detroit) and Jonathan Toews(Chicago).

Bergeron won a league best 62 percent of faceoffs and his plus/minus rating of +24 is sixth best in the NHL.
