B’s Bergeron Says He Is Ready

The short summer of '13 is over for the Boston Bruins. The heart breaking loss to Chicago in the Stanley Cup Finals is ancient history now. The 2013-14 training camp begins now. The B's will have a new look - gone is Seguin and Horton. New in town is Iginla and Eriksson.

Because of last year's lockout and shortened season, the NHL playoffs stretch into late, late June. It ended with a game six loss to the Blackhawks and a lot of injured Bruins players.

Those players, Patrice Bergeron, Gregory Campbell and Zdeno Chara, say they've recovered and are ready to go to work. Team officials say Bergeron and Campbell are ok to practice but are not cleared to play games yet.

Future hall of famer Jerome Iginla replaces Nathan Horton, one free agent arrives when one leaves.

The big trade of Tyler Seguin to Dallas. The B's got Loui Eriksson and some young guns. Eriksson, while unknown to many in the northeast, is supposed to be Seguin only with alittle different style, more of a Bruins style.
