The Boston Bruins open training camp this morning but 21-year-old start forward David Pastrnak will not be there. In fact, he is a long, long way from Beantown.

Try the Czech Republic.

His agent says Pastrnak will stay in his native country until there is a contract deal with the Bruins.

And so the game of 'who blinks first' continues between the B's and Pastrnak.

The team has the salary cap money to pay the young star what he wants (apparently $7-8 million bucks a year) but the B's don't want to pay that much.

Pastrnak is not a free agent so unless he wants to play in Russia or in Europe, eventually he will have to sign something.

Or hold out...
