Simply put, the Boston Bruins gave away two points in the NHL standings to a team in their own division. Let's see it it comes back to haunt.

The B's looked for about the first 30 minutes and led Buffalo 4-1. Two goals from Brad Marchand and two goals from David Pastrnak.

And then it was role reversal. The Buffalo Sabres took over play and the B's could never get it back.

The Sabres scored a goal late in the second period, two more in the third and then the game winner in overtime.

The B's get one point for the regulation tie and are now 3-3-1.
