Boston Bruins winger Brad Marchand has been named the NHL First Star Award winner for the past week after helping the B's win three games and keep the team's unbeaten streak going.

After losing the first three games of the year, The Bruins have six wins and a tied since.

Last week Marchand scored four goals and two assists for six points.

For the season, Marchand is tied for third on the team with nine points.
