This one hurts...Boston University scored with 3.9 seconds left in OT to beat the Maine Black Bears 5-4 at Alfond Arena. And, it happened after Maine had come back from a three goal deficit.

With time running out in overtime, a weird bounce off the glass started a 2-on-1 break for the Terriers. Matt Nieto put the puck past Martin Ouellette for the game winner and stun the home crowd.

Maine out shot BU 44-34.

The Bears remain in 9th place in Hockey East with eight teams making the playoff field. The next two series, against UMass and Northeastern will be crucial. It is likely only one of the three teams will get into post-season. The three teams are separated by four points in the standings.
