The struggles of the Boston Red Sox and Clay Buchholz continued Wednesday night as the team had its losing streak reach six games with a 6-4 loss to Toronto.Buchholz dropped to 2-4 on the season after not making it out of the 5th inning. He allowed 5 runs on 9 hits including two homeruns to Edwin Encarnacion who has four in the first two games of the series.

The Sox, who left 11 runners on base tried to mount a late comeback by scoring three runs in the 8th inning but could not get any closer. The loss drops Boston 5-games under .500 and four games out of the lead in the division.
